Graphic Assemblages

Project prompt:
Students developed a toolkit of forms pulled from prior Microsoft Excel drafting experiments. These formal experiments were then designed and laser cut into stencils, used to draft a poster which exhausted a grid and system. Students across two sections then spent two weeks designing an exhibition to display their posters and process, titled ⌘C V: An Excelstencil Crisis

Sight Site Cite

7 weeks

Project prompt:
Using the fair title Sight Site Cite as the thematic, students used publishing as a platform to bring content, community, and concerns into view. Work was made under students’ self-developed publishing imprint, and all content was derived from their imprint’s defined mission statement.

Students were required to create an imprint marker, a takeaway, and three editioned works to table at their fair.
